Tom Bottenfield, Ph.D.

Dr. Bottenfield is a staff psychologist who received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Oakland University and his Ph.D. in Clinical and Educational Psychology from Wayne State University in 1998.  In addition to being an experienced clinician, he is a certified school psychologist and has recently retired after serving the students of Detroit and Romeo for 28 years.   


Dr. Bottenfield has also served as adjunct psychology faculty at St. Clair County Community College and had provided independent psycho-educational evaluations through his company Summit School Services.  At Apex he works with a diverse population of adolescents and adults, and treats a number of different disorders.  


In his free time, Dr. Bottenfield enjoys spending time with his family, now also consisting of two grandchildren.  He is an avid outdoorsman and fanatical about crossword puzzles.

Brain Bradley, MA, LLP


Mr. Bradley is a staff psychologist who received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Central Michigan University and his Master of Arts Degree in Clinical and Educational Psychology from Wayne State University in 1987.  He has also completed coursework for his Ph.D. and is all but dissertation. 

Mr. Bradley’s clinical experiences are extensive.  In addition to being a certified school psychologist in Detroit, he has also worked as a staff psychologist in Detroit area outpatient clinics, psychiatric hospitals, and Children’s Hospital of Michigan.  Mr. Bradley has also participated as a research psychologist at the University of Michigan, helping to develop teen suicide prevention strategies.  He brings a wealth of knowledge in working with diverse populations of adolescents and adults, and in treating many disorders.     

In his free time, Mr. Bradley enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, and reading.

Lisa Weiss, M.A., LLP

Ms. Weiss received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Wayne State University and later attained her Master’s Degree in Psychology from Vermont College of Norwich University.  She also has a certification as a Brain Injury Specialist from the American Academy of Brain Injury Specialists – Brain Injury Association of America.

Ms. Weiss’ extensive clinical experience includes working with those with brain injury, running therapeutic programs involving parenting skills, and conducting individualized cognitive behavioral treatment for attention, memory and executive reasoning.  She works with adults and adolescents, and treats a wide range of disorders.  

In her role as clinical coordinator, she was instrumental in working with patients in an area brain injury treatment program, as well as directing that agency toward national accreditation.

In her free time, Ms. Weiss enjoys spending time with her family.

Ray Kamoo, Ph.D.

Dr. Kamoo is a licensed psychologist with 26 years of clinical experience.  He serves as Director of Apex Therapy Services, having started the clinic as an extension of his private practice. 

He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Michigan State University and his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy in 1999.  His practice includes a diverse range of forensic and clinical patients, and he is often called upon to do psychological evaluations throughout the United States. 

In addition to writing a scholarly reference book on the history of an ethnic community, Dr. Kamoo has also authored or co-authored numerous publications in the fields of clinical and forensic psychology, immigration evaluations, and ancient history in a number of peer-reviewed journals. 

Dr. Kamoo serves as adjunct psychology faculty at the University of Detroit Mercy, supervising PhD students and serving on dissertation committees. He continues to present papers at many conferences and has been invited to speak at a number of meetings and colloquia.  He is actively involved in research and is a member of several professional organizations. In his free time, Dr. Kamoo enjoys spending time with his family, running and playing tennis.

Kristina Mansour, MA, LPC


Ms. Mansour is a staff therapist who received her Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from Oakland University in 2010.  Since her graduation, she has utilized her various talents in a number of clinical and supervisory capacities, serving patients in a multi-county and broad-based mental health center.

Working with a diverse population of children, adolescents, and adults, Ms. Mansour has broad experience in treating families, couples, and groups presenting with a diverse range of disorders.    

In her spare time Ms. Mansour enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Sylvia Delgado, MS, LLP

Ms. Delgado is a staff psychologist who graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan University in 1989.  Since that time she has had extensive experience working with diverse clinical populations in private practice, community mental health, and emergency settings. 


In treating a spectrum of disorders, Ms. Delgado also has worked with individuals with transgender issues and others from the LGBT community.  She continues to be invested in her psychodynamic training through the Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute.  A native speaker, Sylvia also conducts therapy with individuals who seek clinical services in Spanish. In her free time, Sylvia enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Rhondi McGill, LMSW


Rhondi McGill is a licensed social worker who attained both her undergraduate degree and her Master’s of Social Work from Wayne State University. Her academic experiences included internships at Child Protective Services of Wayne County, Geriatric Mental Health Services of Macomb County, and with Judson Center’s In-Home Family Treatment Program.


After graduation, Ms. McGill worked as a therapist at Judson Center, ultimately overseeing their in-home program. Since 1991, she has worked as a school social worker for the Redford Union Day Treatment Program. At Apex, her broad clinical experiences allow her to treat a variety of disorders in working with adults and adolescents.


In her free time, Ms. McGill enjoys spending time with friends and family.
