Jenny Marogi

​Jenny brings a wealth of work experience to her role at Apex Therapy Services.  Shortly after graduation, she began what became a 12-year career managing a number of family businesses in the Detroit metropolitan area.  Under her leadership all of these businesses saw significant year-over-year growth.

Wanting new challenges, Jenny then shifted to the corporate world and worked in a data entry facility for the next six years.  She later found employment in an office that catered to document fulfillment for large law offices, and remained there for six years.  Her job duties at Apex include maintaining medical records and conducting regular internal audits. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Janet Chuhran, RHIT

Janet Chuhran brings a diverse and lengthy work experience to Apex Therapy Services.  She had spent twelve years with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Michigan as a claims adjudicator and eighteen years as a medical biller with a large Detroit area billing company.    

Ms. Chuhran is a Registered Health Information Technician, having attained her certification in 2012.  In her role as Apex’s office manager, she is integrally involved with all aspects of billing, scheduling, maintaining the medical record, and patient financials.  She is a member of several professional organizations.     

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  She also has a passion for the great outdoors.

Ray Kamoo, Ph.D.

Dr. Kamoo is a licensed psychologist with 26 years of clinical experience.  He serves as Director of Apex Therapy Services, having started the clinic as an extension of his private practice. 

He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Michigan State University and his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy in 1999.  His practice includes a diverse range of forensic and clinical patients, and he is often called upon to do psychological evaluations throughout the United States. 

In addition to writing a scholarly reference book on the history of an ethnic community, Dr. Kamoo has also authored or co-authored numerous publications in the fields of clinical and forensic psychology, immigration evaluations, and ancient history in a number of peer-reviewed journals. 

Dr. Kamoo serves as adjunct psychology faculty at the University of Detroit Mercy, supervising PhD students and serving on dissertation committees. He continues to present papers at many conferences and has been invited to speak at a number of meetings and colloquia.  He is actively involved in research and is a member of several professional organizations.

In his free time, Dr. Kamoo enjoys spending time with his family, running and playing tennis.
